Against a Bright, Blue Sky can be read in two different ways: something beautiful and expansive and the other a push to the edge of the world. Tlaloc Studios and The Unibrow magazine are bringing together a group of artists, a community of Los Angeles for a group show that celebrates friendship, resistance, revival, culture, past, present and future. The show is about both celebratory and protest.
Each artist was asked for a small work that was a both a reflection of the title and the city it was made in. It is also connected to The Unibrow, not just a Los Angeles magazine but a publication creating stories and a voice of record for the artists defining the times we live (and lived) in.
The show will be on view November 22—December 14, 2025.
