Get Lucky was our first solo show in Miami at The Box Gallery. This interactive installation invited visitors to open their minds and hearts and take part in a new religion where they are the central figure. Upon entering the space, you were able to experience small furry deities that represented various human attributes. Love, good and evil, nature, health and all that is associated with spirituality was now present for each participant to approach however they wished. Each person was sent to visit the main deity, the “Fur Liaison”, a 10-foot white furry wizard atop a wooden slide. Visitors could communicate with this god by pulling little geometric blocks to make sounds and wishes. On this wonderful occasion everyone came to Get Lucky, and it worked!
