We were commissioned to take part in an experimental exhibition called Project Fox. The project took on two parts. First, we designed four hotel rooms, as well as created an installation involving a new Volkswagen car being introduced to the European market. Each of the rooms is now a custom installation that tells a special story about the different realms of existence. For the car, we wanted to give an inanimate object a soul, anthropomorphizing it, and as such, giving birth to a new creation, as a magical deity known as the “Albino Fox”. The car traveled to various museums with a FriendsWithYou art installation throughout 2005 that celebrated the car’s unique identity.
